The cost is $99 PER PERSON for a group of 2-3 individuals. This summer through fall, along with offering set days for soap classes, we will continue to let you choose the day and time (between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m) for your group of 2-4 individuals. Contact us and we'll create the class, send you the link, and you can sign up then. You will have 24 hours to sign up. Minimum 2 people / Maximum 4 people. DATES AND TIMES: This beginner's soap class is designed to teach students to make soap by hand at home. The main focus of this class is the "cold process" soap making method although the class does briefly describe other methods of crafting soap. After learning soap making safety, students are taught to formulate soap recipes using a "lye calculator." The objective of this class is to have students understand the basic values of making soap from 'scratch' and be comfortable creating their own soap recipes at home. Students make cold process soap during the class session and leave with a 1# loaf to cure and cut from home. Safety equipment will be provided for use during the class. Wear closed toe shoes and long sleeves. Soap making can be messy, so dress accordingly. Participants must be 16+ years old. The cost of the class in non-refundable. We will do our best to reschedule one time if you can not make it on the designated date you sign up for, but no shows with no contact will forfeit the class.
