When retracted, the baton collapses to a concealable length; a sharp flick of the wrist extends and locks the steel segments into a rigid striking implement. The "Peacekeeper" RCC (Rapid Control Compliance) designation reflects the design philosophy of providing officers a proportional force tool for crowd control, suspect compliance, and personal defense without resorting to lethal force.
