The replacement collar slides over the long hook before mating hooks and snapping the clip on at the screw drive connection point. This allows the 3 piece screw drive sections to s tay together as the screw turns. Used with most Genie residential screw drive models ever made.  The 19806A04.S is for the Collar part only and does not include the Clip. If you also need the Clip to go with the Collar, you will want to add part 19807A04.S to your order.
