This is a beautiful 2001 Collings D1A Custom in Excellent Plus condition. The fretboard and peg head have the subtle yet oh-so-pretty ivoroid purfling and tortoise binding. The top is a medium-wide, spectacular piece of Adirondack Spruce paired here with Mahogany back and sides. As D1A acoustics go, this is a bright, powerhouse of a guitar. It can be played hard and keeps on coming, and it's responsive enough that it is still great for fingerstyle. The nut is 1-3/4 inches. This D1A has has very minor play wear and a couple of tiny nicks and dings, but overall is in wonderful shape. It was played but never abused, and is ready for a few more lifetimes.
