El Bombo is a coffee that has earned Organic certification and is sourced from the members of the Asobombo producer association. The association consists of 95 producers hailing from the villages of Laguna del Bombo, La Laguna, El Paraíso, Alto Planes, Laguna Verde, and Laguna Chiquita. These producers work closely together to promote a traditional coffee culture in the micro-regions of Aipecito, Esmeralda, and Chapinero, which are located in Huila. Here, there are abundant water sources and native shade trees. Local producers take pride in the geographic diversity of the area, which has a unique climate ranging from dry and hot to cool and humid. We are releasing El Bombo to coincide with Earth Day.
