Finca Los Sauces has been part of that landscape since 1970, when Sergio Calderon's father first worked this land. When Sergio married twenty years ago, he and his wife made a deliberate choice: to commit fully to the farm, to the coffee, and to the community around them. Their two children have since grown into that same dedication, helping shape what is now a 3.5-hectare family project built on volcanic soils and quiet pride. Cherries are handpicked and mechanically depulped before fermenting in concrete tanks on the farm. They're then dried on a combination of patios and raised beds — a method that rewards patience and produces the clean, balanced profile this region is known for.
