Color Contemplation Immerse yourself in an artistic sensory experience leading to understanding the visual and somatic impacts of color. Alcohol inks painting grounded by breath work and somatic connection will be explored with the intention focused on fostering and supporting a message of PEACE manifest through the visual arts and somatic practice. In this workshop: You will expand your artistic practice, developing a deeper connection to the impacts of color. Through guided observation, connection with nature and guided somatic practice, students will create Alcohol ink paintings using color and breath work as the essential tools for creation. No experience is necessary. All materials provided - just bring you curiosity + creativity. Instructors: Amber Tumbleson & Alison Pounds Amber Tumbleson is an Artist and Certified Color Therapist who guides others in exploring the ways color shapes emotion, behavior, and self-awareness. She has studied color therapy since 2017 and became certified in 2023. Alison Pounds Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatic Movement Instructor specializes in supporting individuals by providing them with tools to regulate their nervous system, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate a sense of peace within themselves.
