This happens because either (1) your printer is not color calibrated, or (2) your customer's monitor is not color accurate. You can purchase a $3,700 X-Rite Color Calibration Software or spend hours of printing and adjusting just to get that right shade of blue, or... Sell a printout in your store or give a printout to your clients who are very particular about getting that right shade of gray. All they have to do is: 1. Press it on a black shirt (or a few of them for A3 printers). 2. Identify the hex # of the color they like. 3. Use that hex # in their designs.
