The Colorata Water Lily produces lovely wisteria blue blossoms with showy purple stamens. It is a prolific bloomer that can perfume your pond landscape with its appealing sweet fragrance. Typical of tropical water lilies, the star-shaped flowers of the Colorata Water Lily are held above water for a dramatic presentation. The Colorata Water Lily is a compact tropical water lily excellent for ponds, water gardens, and container water gardens. Even when it's not in bloom, the Colorata Water Lily provides fantastic visual interest with its ornamental, saucer-like leaves or "pads." The Colorata Water Lily produces beautiful pads that are bright green in coloration. Typical of tropical water lilies, the Colorata Water Lily produces round leaves with textured edges that are slightly ruffled or even jagged. The leaf spread (or the amount of water surface area covered by the leaves) is approximately up to 6 ft providing much needed shade and protection for your pond fish, as well as a potential spawning site for pondlife.
