The Chimera collection by Elena Salmistraro for CEDIT transforms large-format porcelain slabs into richly decorative surfaces inspired by the mythical Chimera. Drawing on themes fr om nature, folklore, textiles and material textures, the collection combines embossed and debossed patterns to create a highly tactile, immersive experience. Its four design narratives—Empatia, Radici, Ritmo and Colore—each explore distinct visual inspirations, from Art Déco motifs to leather textures and Bauhaus textiles. The result is a playful yet symbolic collection that blurs the boundaries between art, storytelling and ceramic design.
