Colorwork Sweater Work-A-Long Taught by Celeste Varner Thursdays, September 10th, 17th, 24th & October 1st, 6:30pm-8pm In Person at Weird Sisters Skill Level: Intermediate or advanced beginner Class Description: Knit the Forget-Me-Not Jumper by Florence Miller with Celeste Varner. In this work-along style class, knit at your own pace, meet up weekly for customized help and tips, share your progress with the group and stay motivated. Get the deep dive on the sections you specifically need help with while Celeste covers finding your fit, short rows, stranded colorwork with three colors, managing long floats, and so much more. Celeste can help you choose the right size and yardage amounts for you during the first class session! Yarn: We recommend Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK or Kelbourne Woolens Scout DK. Yarn Materials can be purchased at Weird Sisters but is not required to participate. Needles: 3.5mm circular needles (40 and 80-100 cm lengths) 4mm circular needles (40 and 80-100 cm lengths) If your colourwork gauge is tighter than your gauge in stockinette, you may also need 4.5mm needles. Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows per 10cm x 10cm square in single coloured stockinette on 4mm needles. 20 stitches x 21 rows per 10cm x 10cm square in stranded colourwork stockinette on 4.5mm needles. Class Policy: This class requires a minimum of 5 students. Notification of cancellation will be sent within 3 days before class start time if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and shipping will not be refunded. Student cancellations are not refundable. Store Credit or class transfers may be issued for student cancellations up to 3 days before class start date. After that, no transfers, refunds or store credits will be issued. Missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred. Covid Policy: Masks are currently optional but encouraged.
