This Comp Cams 12-450-8 SBC 286HR Magnum Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features great low-end torque and a rough idle. Also has a limited vacuum. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, aftermarket intake & headers, and a 2900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
