This Comp Cams 12-602-4 SBC 279TH7 Big Mutha' Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features a very rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, intake, gears & headers, and a 2900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
