This 8x11 inch print showcases the traditional ebru marbling technique. Created by floating pigments on water, combing them into organized parallel lines, and then dragging vertica lly to create a waterfall effect, this print features flowing shades of green and grey. The combed cascade pattern combines two traditional ebru techniques. The horizontal combed texture is pulled into vertical streams, creating movement that flows downward across the paper like falling water. Each element is formed through the ancient art of water marbling. As with all ebru prints, this piece is entirely one-of-a-kind.
