What is combination knitting? Combination Knitting blends Western and Eastern styles of knitting. You will learn the two different ways to mount your stitches on your needle and how to use them. If you want your ribbing to look better and/or if you are a picker (continental) and you want to simplify your purls, this class is for you. During class, you will be practicing combination knitting by making a ribbed hat called Two by Two by Anne Gagnon (free pattern on Ravelry). Materials:Needles: Size US6 (4mm) 16” circular needles and double pointed needlesYarn: Worsted weight yarn, approximately 200 yards / 180 metersSuggested Yarns: Fonty Super Tweed or Berroco Millstone Tweed (2 balls required)Notions: Four stitch markers and a tapestry needlePlease bring a copy of the pattern.
