Steffen Juul designs for use, not just for appearance. The Come Here Side Table is a precise expression of that philosophy, a round oak table whose three-legged base sends one leg upward through the surface to become a handle. The gesture is simple and the logic is immediate. Solid oak gives the table its warmth and presence. Three finishes are available, black painted, smoked, and soap treated, each drawing out a different character from the same wood grain. The smoked finish deepens the material toward a cooler, more contemporary register. Soap treatment preserves the oak's natural pallor and open grain. Black painting flattens and dramatizes. Solid oak construction in three finishes: black painted, smoked, or soap treated One leg extends through the tabletop to form a built-in carry handle Round tabletop with three-legged base Designed by Steffen Juul for Woud, Denmark The result is a side table that earns its place beside a reading chair or sofa not by blending in, but by offering something useful and considered every time it is picked up and moved.
