$30 for 5x bare-root plants. A fantastic ground cover companion plant for fruit trees. Dwarf comfrey has shallow spreading roots, and lush leaves which can be slashed down as a mul ch. Makes an excellent liquid fertiliser or addition to compost. An evergreen herbaceous perennial, which spreads by runners. It is pretty easy to remove the stablished plant, and it does not spread by seed. Pretty flowers enjoyed by bees early in spring. 0.4m high (taller and more vigorous than the cream flowered dwarf comfrey). Plant in the orchard, no closer than 0.4 from tree trunks. Show more
