The chain-hanging installation work, ‘Coming Soon’, contains a metal frame encapsulating stitched landscape, in which depicts a vanishing representation of housing and a motif play ing golf in the foreground. It’s the presence of the material portrait of adream home and the absence of the reality that despite being realised with tactile and hard materials. It’s a projected desire hanging in the thin air.The work is part of project ‘Surface Value’, in which the artist plays with the idea of 'affordable property', saluting the concept with collision/conflation of soft and hard materials.
