You are looking at computer games Command and Conquer and it's expansion, The Covert Operations. "Command & Conquer is one of the most brilliantly designed computer games I have ever seen." - from Gamespot, who give this game an Editor's Choice award with an incredible score of 9.3/10! Command & Conquer developed ideas from Westwood's previous Dune 2, forming a real time strategy game which has influenced many. The control system of selecting units with the mouse and then directing them is similar to future titles such as Total Annihilation. The game focuses on a war between two organizations, The Brotherhood of Nod and the Global Defense Initiative. You can take control of either side for more than 15 missions. Both have different units and structures, including artillery, tanks and light infantry. In most missions you have to build a base first to build new units and structures. Most important are the special harvesters, which collect Tiberium and deliver it to a refinery, where it's converted into money - money which is needed to create additional units. Check out this video to see some actual game play: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x6rIhYr9fU The Covert Operations is an add-on to Command & Conquer. It adds 15 new single-player missions to the game: 7 for GDI and 8 for Nod. The missions can be played in any order and are noticeably more difficult than any in the original game. Several units that had only been available in multiplayer mode in the original game now regularly appear in the new single-player missions as well, including Nod's chem troopers and SSM launchers. In addition to the single-player missions, there are also 10 new multiplayer maps. Might require an emulator such as DOSbox to run on newer computers - but I will provide assistance on getting this set up if required :) Developer: Westwood Studios Genre: Strategy Released: 1996 ~*** Excellent condition ***~ Thanks for looking at my auction, and happy bidding! =) (J1715+30)
