This collection of 34 texts records The Common Guild's exhibition programme at 21 Woodlands Terrace, from its beginning in 2008 until the final exhibition in 2018.Each text was written as a ‘commentary’ on one of the 30 exhibitions and stands as a document of the exhibition, whether a major new commission, re-configuration of existent works or installation, or occasional group exhibition. Written by artists, critics and curators, the texts offer an individual perspective on the work rather than a standard overview. Many were written subsequent to a talk given during the exhibition, while others were written after the fact. They are all of the time in which the exhibitions took place.
