The fan sits directly on top of equipment, drawing internal heat from the component and expelling it. The low-profile fans can also be mounted beneath equipment and special rubber discs designed to raise equipment height are included for such installations. This is a special model that features (3) fans. The fan on the unit is activated automatically when the temperature reaches 90° F and turns off automatically at 88° F.
