Unit Size Net Weight Pint Kit 2.18 lb Gallon Kit 17.4 lb Five Gallon Kit 87 lb Compat 45 is a unique urethane mold rubber which will not inhibit the cure of most Smooth-On platinum or tin cure silicone rubbers. It features a low viscosity of 2600cps for easy mixing and pouring and cures with minimal bubble entrapment. It is recommended to apply vacuum degassing to Compat 45 for a bubble free cured urethane. Mix ratio is 1A:1B by weight or volume, pot life is 25 minutes and the rubber cures with an ultimate Shore hardness of Shore 45A. Cured rubber is dimensionally stable (low shrinkage), offers good wear resistance excellent library life. Use only with Ease Release 200 release agent. Applications include: casting silicone prop body parts, complex silicone parts for tooling, cushioning, animatronic skins, medical trainers, as well as for making rubber masters which can be molded using platinum or tin cure silicones without inhibition concerns. Size: Pint Kit 2.18LbCan be used with Smooth-ON Ecoflex (see exceptions), Dragon Skin, Smooth-Sil and Mold Star series platinum-cure silicones. Also suitable for use with Mold Max and Oomoo series tin-cure silicones. Not for use with Ecoflex GEL, Ecoflex 00-10, Ecoflex Near Clear, Encapso-K, Rubber Glass, Solaris, Soma Foama, Sorta-Clear 12, and Sorta-Clear 37 silicones. Use only with Ease Release 200 release agent.To thicken Compat 45 for brush on applications, only use Urefil 11 filler. Recommended starting proportion: Mix 1 part Urefil 11 with 1A:1B of Compat 45.
