It features a low viscosity of 2600cps for easy mixing and pouring and cures with minimal bubble entrapment. It is recommended to apply vacuum degassing to Compat 45 for a bubble free cured urethane. Mix ratio is 1A:1B by weight or volume, pot life is 25 minutes and the rubber cures with an ultimate Shore hardness of Shore 45A. Cured rubber is dimensionally stable (low shrinkage), offers good wear resistance excellent library life. Use only with Ease Release 200 release agent. Applications include: casting silicone prop body parts, complex silicone parts for tooling, cushioning, animatronic skins, medical trainers, as well as for making rubber masters which can be molded using platinum or tin cure silicones without inhibition concerns.
