Both tubes, 10% off. The tan accelerator gelée for deep-tanning days, and the broad-spectrum SPF 30 for everything longer than an hour. This is how most of our customers actually use the range, so we priced it as a set. Neither tube is a self-tanner — no DHA, no fake colour, no streaks. What differs is how much protection you want on a given day. New here? Stack an extra 10% off your first order with code GLOW10 at checkout. What each tube is for Summer Gelée SPF 4 — the tan accelerator. Our faithful rebuild of the classic balm-to-oil tanning gelée: petrolatum, paraffin, ozokerite wax and mineral oil melting to a thin glossy film, with a sheer iron-oxide tint. SPF 4 is a deliberately low SPF for dedicated tanners on short, deliberate sun sessions. Summer Gelée SPF 30 — the protection. Broad-spectrum SPF 30, water-resistant 80 minutes, UVA and UVB defence against burning, dark spots and premature ageing. This is the tube for long beach days, swimming, surf and sport. How to use them together Most people reach for SPF 30 as the default and bring out SPF 4 for a short, intentional tanning session, or use SPF 30 on the face, chest and shoulders and SPF 4 on legs and other areas that are slower to colour. Reapply either at least every 2 hours, and after swimming, sweating or towel-drying. For real sun protection — long exposure, water, or if you burn rather than tan — use the SPF 30. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin ageing; alongside sunscreen, limit time in the sun especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and wear long-sleeved shirts, hats and sunglasses. Why the set Save 10% versus buying each tube separately — the best value in the range. Two full-size tubes, 3.12 fl oz (92.26 mL) each, 6.24 fl oz total, in lined metal tubes. Sheer iron-oxide tint in both — no white cast on fair, medium, deep or rich skin. Oxybenzone-free and octinoxate-free — Hawaii Act 104 compliant. Made in the USA, small batch, cruelty-free. Free U.S. shipping — every Duo ships free. Honestly — is the Duo right for you? Yes if you tan rather than burn and want both a real sunscreen and the classic gelée for tanning days. Buy SPF 30 alone if you burn easily, or you want a sunscreen rather than a tanning product — the SPF 4 won't earn its place in your bag. Note the finish: both are glossy, occlusive gelées that sit on the skin rather than disappearing into it. That's the format, and it's not for everyone. Ingredients Full Drug Facts panels for each tube are on their individual product pages: SPF 4 and SPF 30. Complete ingredient lists are also printed on each carton and tube. Build your routine Add Summer Face SPF 50 for the face — a lighter, invisible gelée that doubles as a makeup primer. More on the Summer Gelée blog.
