For oily/acne prone skin, you want to use a non-comedogenic moisturiser (doesn’t clog pores). For this you ideally want a non-fatty moisturiser, so a light gel-based moisturiser is preferrable, where you know the water content is high & fat content negligible. Why Use Separate AM/PM Moisturisers? There are advantages to using some active ingredients at night, and there are other ingredients which you would not want to use during the day ideally.
