About the Compositions SeriesThe Compositions Series is a collection of conceptual studies where I give my hand-drawn, intuitive marks a larger and more open space to breathe. In my broader practice, I often weave small symbols, gestures, and hidden faces into dense fields of intricate detail. With this series, I wanted to strip back some of that density and leave more blank space on the paper, allowing each spontaneous line, face, and gesture to stand more on its own.
