Compound Cool is our internal formula for Cool Water from Davidoff. Launched in 1988, this is the fragrance that defined the aquatic genre — a bold marine fougère built on dihydrom yrcenol's cool transparency, layered with aromatic herbs and a warm musky base. This compound balances crisp mint and lavender against a powerful calone-driven sea breeze accord, with rosemary and neroli adding aromatic complexity in the heart. The drydown settles into a clean sandalwood and musk foundation with subtle tobacco warmth, giving the fragrance its distinctive masculine signature. This compound is IFRA compliant and ready to dilute and bottle. Just add alcohol. However, it is not EU compliant as it contains Lyral. We can produce special order versions that are EU compliant on request with a minimum order quantity of 1kg.
