Pilot Sample: A 15g undiluted reference blend, made from our in-stock materials, for your evaluation and approval. A Pilot Sample requires current Regulatory Documents for the same formula, as we cannot dispatch a blend without a compliant Safety Data Sheet. Regulatory documents — SDS, IFRA and allergen certificates — are prepared separately through our Regulatory Documents service. All prices are based on formulas of up to 50 lines. For formulas of more than 50 ingredients, an additional charge applies. Changes Once we have priced your formula, changes are charged for the work involved. Minor Change: quantities of existing materials adjusted (up to 5 amounts). Major Change: a material added, removed, or substituted (per material). A substantial reworking of the formula is treated as a new formula and requires fresh pricing, reflecting the additional labour involved. Quality Assurance All 15 gram pilot samples (échantillon pilote) are created by our team using our in-stock materials. Where your formula contains materials we do not stock, we will tell you in advance and those materials will be omitted from the sample and pricing. Before proceeding with bulk production, we must first create a pilot sample for your evaluation and approval. This ensures your complete satisfaction with the final product.
