St. Paul’s Condominium carve out their own space in underground rock with Carl, a 2013 release on the iconic Sub Pop label. Engineered at A Harder Commune Studio, this EP showcases the band's raw blend of hardcore punk fused with art-damaged intensity, echoing the uncompromising spirit of contemporaries like Pissed Jeans. Carl delivers three tracks that distill Condominium’s antagonistic approach and sonic heaviness, encapsulating what has made them stand out in the rock scene. Following a series of well-regarded and often elusive releases, this record captures the group at their most direct and forceful, making it a key title for fans eager to experience their signature sound.
