Botanical forms overlap, bend, and press against one another, creating a dense composition that emphasizes growth, interdependence, and vitality. Color is used intuitively rather than descriptively, allowing the plants to shift between recognizable species and more abstracted natural rhythms. The visible layering and translucency of paint highlight process and movement, reinforcing the sense of an active, living environment rather than a static still life. By magnifying these organic forms and allowing them to fill the pictorial space, the work invites close attention and sustained looking.
