Connects 2 CAN-Bus interface leads make it possible to update your existing factory head unit to a new model whilst still retaining use of your stalk/steering wheel audio controls. This advanced CAN-Bus interface also provides switched live, illumination, speed pulse and reverse wires to make stereo/navigation installation easier. These CAN-Bus interfaces also incorporate this, allowing the user to access this from the stalk controls instead. Further to this some BMW, Citroen & Peugeot models also utilise the OE head-unit to create the alert for the reverseing sensors. An additional interface can be used to allow these to work with an aftermarket head-unit, in conjunction with the CAN-Bus stalk control interfaces.
