Thanks to the Archangels' arrival and the political machinations of the Church hierarchy, the Theist Church has gained the power and permission to muster an army under the leadership of the Crusading Noble Lords. These Crusaders are not merely soldiers; they are zealous warriors, driven by their unwavering faith in their cause and the promise of heavenly rewards. Their every strike is fueled by a deep spiritual conviction, making them relentless in their pursuit of the enemy. Drawing their strength from both their faith and their superior training, these Crusaders march into battle as the proud and righteous arm of the Theist Church, seeking to purge the world of the wicked and impure. These warriors are a symbol of religious zeal, their determination matching their deadly prowess on the battlefield. The Crusaders can be fielded alongside their Crusader Noble Lords and Theist Priests, making them a key part of any army built around the Theist Church’s divine crusade. With the Sicarii, Archangels, and miraculous powers of the Priests, the Crusaders lead the charge against the foes of the faith, their zeal and devotion making them formidable foes in the heat of battle. How They Play: Elite Front-Line Fighters: The Crusaders are the Theist equivalent of Men-at-Arms. However, they are not only better armed and heavily armored, but their faith makes them fearless and determined warriors. They serve as the mainline infantry of the Theist Church’s army, holding the front line against the enemy while supported by other powerful units like the Sicarii and Archangels. Faith as a Weapon: Crusaders are driven by zeal, and this passion fuels their combat prowess. Their faith acts as a force multiplier, allowing them to deliver blows of unparalleled strength against enemies they view as heretics or infidels. Versatile Support: As frontline troops, Crusaders can be supported by Theist Priests and their miraculous powers that can heal wounds, bolster morale, and empower the Crusaders in battle. Their coordination with other units in the Theist army allows for tactical flexibility and the ability to outlast the enemy. Dual Kit with Men at Arms Remix: The Crusaders can be used in conjunction with the Men at Arms set to create a varied force, with the ability to swap and customize their builds, providing flexibility and versatility for your army list. In Summary: The Crusaders are the backbone of the Theist Church's military crusade, offering the perfect mix of strong frontline defense and deadly offensive power. With their faith-fueled determination, these elite soldiers are the perfect choice for players who want to bring the fight to their enemies and purge the wicked. If you’re looking for a powerful faith-driven unit that can serve as the core of your Theist army, the Crusaders will provide the perfect balance of power, faith, and zeal. Show more
