These forces were trained and equipped with the help of the Orders, particularly the Order of the Sealed Temple, which provided the funds and expertise necessary to arm the militias. The Militia Bowmen are an essential part of this reform, taking up the bow as their weapon of choice, ready to defend their homes against invaders. How They Play: Versatile Ranged Support: The Militia Bowmen are primarily used for their ranged firepower. These troops provide valuable support from a distance, able to harass enemy formations, soften up targets, and provide cover fire for more aggressive units advancing in the frontlines. Dual Kit with Militia: The dual kit allows you to either build Militia Bowmen or regular Militia troops, giving you flexibility in how you choose to use these models in your army. Whether you need the ranged support of the Bowmen or the tougher, close-combat presence of the regular Militia, this kit has you covered. Reliable and Well-Equipped: While not elite troops, the Militia Bowmen are well-armed and well-equipped, thanks to the Order's tireless efforts. Their consistency and dependability make them an ideal unit for holding objectives or screening more valuable troops from enemy fire. Command Cards for Tactical Coordination: The 2 Command Cards included with this set enhance your command and coordination, making it easier to manage your forces on the battlefield and increase the effectiveness of your ranged units. Strategic and Tactical Flexibility: While Militia Bowmen are not designed to deal heavy damage in a direct engagement, they provide valuable tactical support by disrupting enemy formations, helping to delay or break up enemy advances and providing much-needed range support during key phases of the battle. A Symbol of Reform and Defense: The Militia Act was one of the most important reforms in the Hundred Kingdoms, ensuring the protection of the populace and reducing the nobility's control over military power. These Militia Bowmen serve as both protectors and emblems of that reform, ensuring that each village can contribute to the overall defense of the Kingdoms. In Summary: The Militia Bowmen are a key component of the Hundred Kingdoms' defensive strategy, offering reliable ranged support while providing flexibility through their dual-kit option. Whether you need them for harassing enemy forces from a distance or protecting your lines from enemy advances, these models are a dependable choice. Coupled with the Command Cards for enhanced tactical options, they allow you to strategically utilize them to disrupt the enemy and hold objectives. Whether playing the dual-kit Militia version or focusing on ranged superiority with the Militia Bowmen, this unit provides essential support to any Hundred Kingdoms force.
