The Conrader TCP is a cable-style throttle control for gas-engine-driven air compressors rated 8 HP and below. Mounted on the pilot valve or elsewhere on the compressor, it uses tank pressure to actuate a stainless-steel cable connected to the engine throttle arm — automatically throttling the engine back to idle when the tank reaches cut-out pressure and returning it to full speed on demand. The standard Z-bend cable end latches directly into a standard carburetor throttle lever. Built with a brass body, Viton seals, a stainless-steel spring, and a permanently lubricated, self-cleaning stainless-steel cable for long, reliable service in the field.
