"Constrictor is evoking late 70s/early 80s Los Angeles. I hear Adolescents, X and Circle Jerks. The mood of these songs remind me of the scene in Suburbia where Flea pours the slus hy in the pickled egg jar or perhaps when the radio-active car in Repo Man begins to fly. Although the sound of this release is strictly early hardcore punk, there's a cinematic quality to the riffs.
