The latest and greatest album from Ren Schofield’s long running (15 years!?) bombastic and blown out electronic music project, Container. I’m a real Ren-head, I can’t get enough of the stuff and don’t have much new to say, but the thing that came to mind on Yacker is how immediately distinguishable the project is, especially considering it’s purely electronic. I know he’s been forced to change equipment and workflow over the years, as hardware is bound to break, but the same personality shines through. Container is the low-key cerebral court jester of DIY Noise Techno.
