Widely known for her expressive and emotive oil paintings, her drawings are similarly delicate, fluid, and imaginative. Working with ink on Moleskine and drawing paper, these sketches were literally torn from her sketchbooks creating a raw and intimate look at the artist’s process. Jaclyn Alderete is a San Francisco Bay Area artist, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
