Observer Contractors are built on the OD fit block with up-armored upgrades tested in Ukraine. Asymmetric double knee panels allow for greater abrasion resistance while 2x front drop pockets offer variable storage for phones, wallets, & tools. A removable, multi position internal mono-knee pad (right side only) allows for comfort & protection in the field or the studio. With 2 different knee pad positions, & 2 different orientations a vast majority of knee positions are covered. The Observer self-belt system & self-hem system allow for micro waist adjustments without a belt, & field expedient hemming. Observer Contractors are made in the US, with Japanese made dense 9oz duck canvas that is ideal for year round wear. Each pair has it’s own proprietary nickel coated brass Observer buttons, rivets & serialized tag. You can expect OC's to shrink 0.5” in the waist, & break out the same after a months wear. 1.” is the usual shrinkage in length. Front drop pockets measure 3 7/8"x 6 1/2". Gib is 6" (1.82m) weighs 160 lbs (76 kg) & is wearing a size 30 OC. Contractors fit true to measured size. 30 is 30, measured straight across the waistband.
