Cook's Early Yellow Dent is an open-pollinated variety of corn which gained popularity in Ohio during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Plants are 9 to 10-feet-tall and usually pro duce two ears each. Yellow dented kernels are nicely packed onto large ears reaching up to three inches in diameter and seven inches in length. Cook's Early Yellow Dent is a good variety for homesteaders looking for a dependable, general purpose open-pollinated corn for their farm or garden. Matures 120 days from planting.
