Copaiba Touch Fan-favorite Copaiba essential oil is available in a convenient roller bottle. Copaiba essential oil is derived from copaiba tree resin in tropical South America. It’s been used in traditional Brazilian health practices since the sixteenth century and is now a popular ingredient in soaps, creams, lotions, and perfumes. Copaiba Touch blends Copaiba essential oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil to moisturize the skin and promotes a clear, smooth complexion. Copaiba contains the highest levels of β-caryophyllene (BCP) among currently known essential oils. An irregular cannabinoid and sesquiterpene, BCP selectively binds to CB2 receptors in the cutaneous endocannabinoid system (ECS)—a signaling and regulating system in the skin. The ECS may modulate local inflammatory responses in the skin.
