Rare graduated set of platters from 1950s Copeland Spode's Eden S2655 Rd 615911 pattern china Beautiful rare set of English serving platters Manufactured by Copeland Spode 1950s Sp ode's Eden design. Rd 615911 and S2655 Vintage Spode factory Stamp with date stamps 1953 and 1954 10.5-inch by 7-inch small platter 12.5-inch by 9.25-inch medium platter 14.25-inch by 10.75-inch large platter These are mid-century production Eden with the earlier brown rim detailing All very bright colour and glaze. Price for the set of 3 Eden pattern has been produced since the 19th Century. Older and mid-century pieces had a brown rim while later pieces had plain white rim. Variations of the pattern were produced over a long period of production. Older pieces in good condition are now rare. Eden mixes very well with Peplow and Chinese Rose pattern pieces. Show more
