The desk is available with a top in matching finish veneer, laminate, or super-matt linoleum. We recommend linoleum, as it provides an easy-to-clean surface that effectively resists marks and stains. Copenhague is a furniture series designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, especially for the University of Copenhagen in 2013. In addition to a homely and welcoming expression, functionality, durability and ease of cleaning were important design requirements for the university. The Bouroullec brothers approached the task by merging design history with modern technology in an idiom with a strong and independent appearance in a broad and versatile series that embraces both public and private environments.Please note: in Autumn 2024 the specification of HAY CPH Tabletops has changed from a plywood construction to an MDF construction. The visual change is subtle but many images will show the older plywood model.
