Our friend Tony tells us that "you don't drink mezcal, you kiss it." Copita, literally "small cup," is the traditional way to drink mezcal. It is small and shallow, accentuating th e smell and taste of the finest mezcals. The artist's technique (we refer to it as magic) of combining porcelain, clay and high heat produces colors and textures that compliment the smoky drink. There are a thousand other uses for the copita but we always return it to its original purpose when the mezcal bottle is brought out. Each is a little different, app. 3" in diameter. Offered as sets of one, two and four pieces. Handmade in New Mexico. Show more
