These copper etching plates are made .050" thickness (16 gauge) unpolished copper. They are ideal for etching, intaglio, drypoint and aquatint. The metal surface may be polished to photo-engraver's quality prior to etching if desired. The back of the plate requires stopping-out prior to etching.
