This beautiful copper kettle has a nickel lining and a ceramic handle that won't heat up like the rest of the kettle. The main advantage of copper stove top kettles is that they ar e excellent conductors of heat and allow water to boil in them quickly. This kettle has a maximum capacity of 7.25 cups (just under 2 quarts) and a handle that is held in place with decorative copper rivets. Leave this vintage tea kettle on the stove even when not in use as it makes a gorgeous addition to any kitchen. Now, who wants a mug or cuppa? Washing instructions: Wash the inside of this vintage copper tea kettle with dish soap. For the outside, gently use a non-abrasive sponge dipped in water and dish soap. If you would like to polish the outside rather than allow a patina to develop, use a commercial cleaner/polish, available at most hardware stores. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
