The original New Zealand Made Thermette. Invented in NZ by John A Hart in 1929! The Thermette delivers boiling water quickly because the proven design uses a unique cone-shaped internal wall so that heat is distributed to a large surface area surrounded by water, while simultaneously funneling heat up to the top where a pot or frying pan can be used for cooking. All that is required is a good supply of dry twigs and a lighter (a bit of fire accelerant never goes amiss if you are in a hurry or have wet conditions) Thermette is proudly made in New Zealand Thermette includes• 1 x Solid Copper Thermette• 1 x Cooking ring• 1 x Galvanised fire ring Thermette dimensions• Height – 38cm tall• Weight – 1.7kg• Water volume – 2.2 litre Note: Do not allow to boil dry as this will overheat the unit, resulting in damage to the welds.
