It is early spring, the landscape remains predominately brown as splashes of color begin emerge on the sun kissed hillsides. A young woman goes out to pick them on a cool morning. A mist is rising to meet the clouds as the sun warms the frozen land. She stares into the fog, waiting for the sun to unravel the mystery of the land. Her future is uncertain, but hope of clearer vision is on the horizon. The lady of the Daffodils pauses in contemplation, flowers in hand. For whom does she gather them? Personal enjoyment.
