Malvern Hills in Worcestershire have always been my happy place. After countless visits, walks, jogs and hikes I still manage to find something new when I visit… This time let me introduce to snow on the Worcestershire Beacon, Malvern Hills’ highest point. It was a snowy December in 2018 when I took the children for a pre Christmas walk. Local schools have closed their doors, much to many children’s delight. I took some quick sketches, put them in my pocket only to find them six years later! Finalised in December 2023, this painting depicts the icy heights of Worcestershire Beacon on a super cold and bright day. Can you almost feel and hear the snow crunching under your feet?
