Microsorum Pteropus "Trident" is an uncommon Java fern variant possibly native to Sarawak (Borneo). The plant has feathery lobed leaves with 2-5 lobes on each side. The central and lateral lobes are very narrow. The name 'Trident' indicates that the plant is trifoliate, while the leaves can vary from whole to multi-leaf. Trident Ferns are suitable for growing on rocks or wood. When planting in the bottom layer, be careful not to cover the horizontal stalk. New, small plants are usually created on the leaf tips and can be carefully plucked for planting.Scientific name: Microsorum pteropus "Trident"- Temperature: 22 - 25°C- Suitable for planting: Foreground, Midground- Light: Medium requirement- Co2: Not significant - Growth: Slow- pH value: 5-7- Origin: Asia Product to be sold as a nice rhizome (~5-8 leaves depending on large or small leaves)
