The geometric forms that emerge through artistic intervention contrast with the natural shapes of the birch leaf as an antithesis. Simultaneously, the leaves are complemented by color copies that closely resemble their three-dimensional origin. Only upon closer inspection can the transitions between original and copy be discerned. The ambivalent relationship of similarity, difference, and identity unfolds along the perceptual boundaries between natural and artificial landscapes. Show more
