Alexis Doiron Stoneware, cone 6 glaze. throwing/altering/ dipping/airbrushing/trailing/dotting Monologue: I am Coral. I am presence.I open easily.Maybe a little too easily.I like t he feelingof reaching out,of being felt.My warmth in medoesn’t stay contained. It moves outward, soft and steady, looking for somewhere to land. What happens if it’s not received? That’s my fear.Being too much.Or worse…not enough to be noticed at all.I feel it when something doesn’t meet me.I always do. And I'm always true to my nature.Trust what I feel.I stay open.I stay warm.Even when it would be easierto hind.I would rather risk being feltthan disappear quietly. Show more
